Equinox 15: Whitby.

I find Whitby a very interesting place. There is so many aspects of history we could look also famous travelers and the birth place of the all-time favorite Dracula. We at Ghosts of Britain took a trip to Whitby bay to have a look for any landmarks that may be suitable to conduct an ITC session for our series Talking To The Dead. Straight away we found two harbor lighthouses standing proudly at the tips of the harbor’s piers, the lighthouses have helped to guide mariners into port for over a hundred-and-fifty-years and with this both are reported as haunted.

If you run by the Port of Whitby and the stone-built 83-foot-tall west lighthouse is open to the public during the tourist-filled summer months and is still partly in use, displaying a green light when a boat is expected to come into the harbor. This lighthouse is said to be…

Introduction

The purpose behind this book may not be self-explanatory as the title could translate in many ways. At first we didn’t start out trying to create a book we were merely collecting a mixture of pictures that we took from our journeys and information from the locations we visited as we went on a simple quest of looking for local history when visiting different locations.

In most cases we often take for granted the areas in which we live and sometimes even missing what’s around us. The first time I was made aware of this is when I ask a friend about travelling to his village and the fact that he asked me “why because there’s nothing interesting up here”. Sheffield’s Lodge Moor POW camp was the next target location for a walk around and some ITC investigation. Red Ridge X has a team have been to this location in the past for some photos and to check it out after discovering the location when doing some local history research, after talking to people about this POW site we soon realised it’s pretty much an unknown site to many people. We then decided to organise an outing with Project Reveal as part of the Equinox 15 project to show them this location and to carry out an ITC.

Lodge Moor POW Camp.

In a beautiful part of Sheffield where the countryside boasts all its beauty you can often miss the remains of the past but these pockets of history are there and Lodge Moor POW Camp or Redmires POW Camp as some call it is no exception. After discovering its…

Red Ridge X – Dybbuk Box – ITC Research #2

Red Ridge X's avatarRed Ridge X

We have previously produced an article showing some research we did after picking up on a few subjects that were brought to our attention when doing an ITC session with the Dybbuk Box. Further to this information after going through some comments from viewers of a live video feed we noticed that the word witch came up a few times in separate sessions with the box. At the time we put it down to the fact we had a picture of 3 suspected witches but after looking back it left us wondering if there was any reference to witches or a witch in the Bible due to the Dybbuk box having many connections. Here`s what we found.

For the first ITC article Click Here.

The Witch of Endor.

The first step we took was to search for any connection with a witch in the Bible and when we did…
