True Tale Tuesday: The Pollock Twins
On May 5, 1957, two English sisters, Joanna and Jacqueline, were killed in a car accident in the parish of Hexham. Two years later, their mother gave birth to twins, Gillian and Jennifer, who were identical in almost every way. Jennifer though had birthmarks that resembled similar marks on her deceased sister, Jacqueline.
Not long after the twins were born, the family moved away to a different part of the country. As time went on, Gillian and Jennifer began asking for toys that their elder passed sisters used to favour, and when the family moved back to Hexham, the twins supposedly recognized landmarks they had no way of having seen before.
Eventually, these incidents trickled off, but it was enough evidence for parapsychologist Dr. Ian Stevenson to write about the Pollock twins in a book about reincarnation, claiming they were reincarnations of their older sisters.

Elisa Lam: One of the world’s greatest unsolved mysteries
In our articles, so far, we have discussed some very strange and mysterious topics… However, non-that are quite as strange and mysterious as the death of Elisa Lam! If you have never heard of her or indeed heard about her truly heartbreaking story. Then you may be shocked by what you are about to read.
The mysterious death of Elisa Lam. Elisa was a 21-year-old student who was found dead in the water-tanks of the Cecil Hotel Los Angeles in 2013. Her death was ruled as accidental due to drowning. There was no alcohol or drugs found in Elisa’s system and no evidence of foul play!
What makes this such a strange case is the events leading up to her death! CCTV footage in one of the elevators in the Cecil Hotel filmed Elisa acting strange and at times she looked very distressed and even scared! She can be seen on the CCTV footage peering out of the elevator; she appears to be hiding from someone or something! If you haven’t seen the footage before I suggest you go and check it out as I can’t really explain how truly mysterious it is. When Elisa does finally leave the elevator she somehow manages to gain access to the roof where she climbs into the ten-foot high water-tanks and then subsequently dies… Her body was found over two-weeks later after the hotel guests began to complain about the taste and colour of the water!
Many different theories have been put forward in the attempt to explain what really happened to Elisa Lam ranging from; her being murdered to her suffering from a severe mental breakdown and even a supernatural explanation such as she was possessed! Whatever happened to Elisa Lam on this day is still a mystery and although many theories have been put forward no one really knows what did happen on that truly sad and tragic day…

Iowa Axe Murders
The Murder House: Iowa Axe Murder House!
The Iowa axe murders took place on the evening of June 9, 1912, and early morning of June 10, 1912, in the town of Villisca in Iowa. And is one of the most gruesome murder story there is! It involves the brutal deaths of the Moore family and two guests that were spending the night
The eight victims, which included Joshua & Sarah Moore, their four children and two Moor children that were spending the night. All eight victims were found bludgeoned to death with an axe. It was suspected that the killer was waiting for the family in the attic as two cigarettes were found in the attic and were believed to have belonged to the murderer!… All the eight victims were slaughtered during the night and they were killed with such forced that axe marks were left in the ceiling along with over items of furniture.
The killer left the axe in a down stairs guest room, and a blood-filled bowl was found in the kitchen! Before leaving the killer also draped clothes over the smashed up faces of the eight victims, along with covering up every window and mirror in the house with cloth. There was a lengthy investigation that turned up several suspects no one was ever charged for the crimes and these terrible murders have never been solved and the killer got away with murder. Today, the house is a tourist attraction and you can visit it, it is also a hot spot for ghost hunters and is decorated as it were that fateful night.
Everyone who has stayed there have all reported the same thing. A sense of heaviness, orbs, sounds, and a sense of not being alone in the house! There is also reports of a whistle that goes off at around 2am… It is said that this is the time of the murders! The fact that someone with such hate and anger, that could do such a terrible thing towards other people, was never caught and punished for these horrendous murders makes this case a lot more chilling!
